Civil Air Patrol
CAP offers opportunities for both adult membership, those who are age 18 and older, and cadet membership for youth ages 12 to 21. Squadron 292 is based in Building 31 on the Greater Binghamton Health Center campus, Binghamton New York. The Squadron serves both Broome and Tioga counties, and meets Thursday evenings at 1830 (6:30pm civilian).
Moving Up and Forward
From it's earliest days providing transport during WW 2, through the Cold War, and now in post 9/11 times, Squadron 292 has served the community, and, over the last few years, is experiencing exceptional growth. This allows the Squadron to provide a robust learning experience and creative environment for talented Cadets and Officers. The Unit enjoys secured long term commitments for its facilities, and looks forward to continuing its mission and volunteer expansion in the future.
